Black-Eyed Susans

Black-eyed Susans:
Same shot, with texture:

Today was Cam's first day of 11th grade. His bus was scheduled to come at 6:51, and I set my alarm for 6:30 and toddled downstairs to find he had already left. This is the first year my kids have to go down to the main road to catch the bus instead of being picked up at the driveway, so I hopped in my car in my PJs and went down and snapped his photo through the car window while he waited for the bus. All I got was a bad photo with weird shadows all over his face so I'm not even going to post it, but at least I got my shot. It might also be his last bus day, because he's taking his road test for his driver's license tomorrow! Eeek! I don't think there's enough Xanax in the world to get me through this.

Black eyed Susans were one of my favorites as a kid.

I REALLY like the action/pp on this one, Becky! Love the whole warm look it gives the Susies. Good luck tomorrow. Your nerves may never be the same....

I love the action too!

You are too funny driving down to get a photo. I took some before school and when the ones of Andy's didn't turn out, I made him pose for me after school. ;)

Love the texture on this. The way the petals are curled back, it reminds me of an echinacea. The story of you driving down to get the photo of your DS made me smile :) Good luck with the driving thing. Been there, done that. It actually DOES get easier, I promise!
