Lack of color

I'd love to see a little color this time of year, but there's none to be found in my yard.

I see a wee bit of color in your last shot. :-) The scenery is gorgeous and looks so peaceful!

Becky, this time of year ya gotta embrace the texture, it's the only way to get through the winter blahs. Look at ALL that gorgeous texture, light and dark in your images. They are peaceful and serene.

Love your macros of the beads and the yarn. I just signed up for my first ever beading class next week. I am so excited, and I'm not even a "jewelry" type of girl. As to your yarn, from the photo I'd say definitely NOT fug.

What is Word Whomp?

Beautiful despite the lack of colors you are hoping for.

I hear you on the lack of color, it snowed ALL DAY today and yet there's barely anything on the ground! I love that first shot.

No color but so beautiful nonetheless! I can't wait for Spring! ;)

These are so beautiful, and I know what you mean...I am so tired of white right now...I could just cry.

I am totally desperate for some type of inspiration.

I love your blog, I just found it. Yes, I agree about the colors but I am also focused on changing the temperature!! Haha

Beautiful, even without color. And that's what my yard looks like right now, too. We got a bunch of snow yesterday...and it's still snowing right now. We probably have about 9 inches.

Seriously winter needs to just be gone. I love your bead pictures below, I need to invest in a macro..and word whomp is really addicting. You might want to check into a support group for that ;)

Gorgeous pictures. Sometimes I wish it snowed here.

These are beautiful snow shots, the first looks like a perfectly flocked Christmas tree. I do know what you mean about a lack of color, I had those issues in Tahoe during the winter. Although, everything was pretty, I yearned for some color outside!

Thanks for adding me to your goodreads, we seem to read a lot of the same books and it will be fun to compare them. :)

p.s. I don't know the climber, I saw a bunch of people climbing at the ocean and shot them. LOL!

Becky, I just scanned through your photos and I love the snow/tire/swing photos! I know what you mean about b&w, though, and yearning for color, and your macro of the beads is a nice, bright, dash of color!

Well it is beauty in its own way but I am sure it gets old after a while. These are really great pictures, love that second one!!
