I had time to kill the other day and went shooting in a cemetery. I prefer old cemeteries for the interesting aged stuff and textures, but I did think this grave marker was kind of cool.
When I saw her up close, I have to admit she creeped me out a little. I hope she's not modeled after anyone real, because I'll probably get struck down for calling her creepy.
The flower detail was kind of pretty. This might make a good texture.
I haven't been pleased with the photos I've been taking the last few days. I think the heat and my busy schedule this week have sucked my energy and enthusiasm away.

Love the puns, Becky! The best ones are the unintended ones that slip through. I find her a little...disturbing..also. I think it is because she looks like she has teeth showing in the closeup. Eeewwww! LOVE the floral texture. That is really neat!!
Ahhh Becky. I've missed stopping in here, cause i always get a good laugh from the things you say. You remind me in a way of my aunt. I always enjoyed her company. These are cool shots. Yes i have to agree the face is, a little creepy. I'm thinking about, or rather trying to build up the courage, to go take some shots at a cemetary as well. Was inspired by someones shots in the gallery recently. And now are inspired again. Love the textured flowers!

Hahaha...Becky you are a riot for sure. I think her eyes look totally freaky! What the heck....but the stonework is nice and the detailing is lovely. We all have off days (sometimes for me its off weeks) but I think doing a photo every day still keeps up in the game and forces us to evaluate every photo as valuable in some way, even if we don't realize it when we take it.

"Shooting in a cemetary" cracked me up too, and after seeing your post, I'm hoping to get time to go creep around creepy cemetaries too! She IS creepy! What's with her jaw/chin/teeth/smile???? I don't think you can have that facial expression and think good thoughts! I hope the heat relents soon for you, and you're finding ways to put great photos before us anyway!!!
