A photo (or more) a day from me/from Maine. Because it's both. I took the photo, and I'm in Maine. Although sometimes I leave the state, so the photo might not be from Maine. But it's still from me.

Happy New Year!
I think I'll end the year with a photo I took way back on January 1. It's one of my favorites of 2008, and it seems appropriate for saying goodbye to another holiday season.

Aww that is kind of a sad tree pictures but still a great capture!!
So sad. :( Great photo though. Does seem rather appropriate.
Aww nice shot. Love the snow. Okay as long as I dont have to get out in it. You are a wild one knitting and all tonight. Have a Happy New Year.
Pretty shot! But it is kind of sad in a way...I always hate saying goodbye to the holidays.
You are so right Becky...it is a beautiful shot. I love the softness of the snow, and emotion in this photo.
Becky, this is a perfect wrapper-upper. Love the softly (?) falling snow, and the loneliness of that tree. Sounds like you rocked NYE!
Such a bittersweet shot...I think it's great!
Great shot, but the poor tree looks so sad! Happy New Year! :)
Becky, I read your comment out-loud to my husband about our house going "ka*boom" and we had a good laugh together!
I can see why this is a favorite of 2008; it's beautiful! I love the crisp of the green (sad) tree against the softness of the background snow.
I just noticed you're reading my all-time favorite author, Stephen King. Are you liking this book?
