Goodbye, cruel uterus

A cereal macro (unhealthy cereal is the prettiest, isn't it?) I have the feeling that cereal is going to be a staple of my family's diet over the next six weeks.

Although I left them this note on the refrigerator:

You see, tomorrow I'm checking in to the hospital for a hysterectomy. Long boring story short, it's time. (Anyone remember my ER visit a couple of months ago?) I'd certainly appreciate any prayers and good thoughts you can throw my way.

So I'll be missing for awhile, although the OCD part of myself (MUST! POST! DAILY!) has pre-scheduled some posts to go up for a few days until I can get back here, so I hope you'll stop by.

At least I won't be bemoaning the fact that I still don't have my camera back.

We'll miss you but maybe your laptop will find it's way to your recovery room! :)

Do you get to keep your uterus in a jar????? (How cool would that be for Halloween?)

Good luck today and a speedy recovery to you! I am sure that you will feel a TON better without it. I wish I could give mine up sometimes (ok...like every month) I mean, with science the way it is, can't they somehow figure out how to stop periods! I will be thinking of you today!

Good luck on your surgery. Once you've recovered, you're going to feel so much better! And, when you have recovered could you please come cook at my house? :)
