Milkweed

Fuzzy milkweed from my yard. All shot with 100mm macro lens.




Sorry I don't have a recipe for the candy apples for you. They were a gift to my stepdad from a colleague. Like the good Nana that she is, my mom confiscated them to give to my kids. :-D

OH!! OH!!! Becky, there is nothing that says fall more than blown milkweed! These are WONDERFUL shots; just love 'em. The first one with the ranked rows of seeds is really cool, but then so are the ones of the exploding seeds. NICE!

These are amazing! Wow, all that detail and texture- from the bumpy pod to the silky fine wisps inside! AWESOME.

Very pretty! I can tell you those things make a mess!!! My older two tore one apart one day in front of the window and I spent hours and hours cleaning up the fuzzy little pieces!!
