Before and after

I didn't take any photos today because I had my pupils dilated for an eye exam and was visually impaired most of the day :-) so this is from the other day. I liked the idea of plopping a bright flower in the snow, but this was before our last storm when the snow was all ucky and I didn't have any good snow for the plopping of the flower.
SOOC:So I decided to play with it. Ran an acid wash action, cropped, and rotated:

I like the acid wash to this one. It provides visual interest and something a bit different. Well executed.

I never would have guessed that was snow in the second shot. The acid wash gives it a very fun and funky feel.

Great pics. I like the first one with the bright colors. You could adjust the levels a bit and that will wash out the snow and give you a pure white background.

WOW!! I love that second shot, there is so much detail in each flower petal, and the snow with the acid wash effect is soooo freaking cool!
I love seeing your fun pictures every day. TFS

The sooc and your edit are just so different that I can't decide which is my favorite? I like both and I never would have guessed that it was snow in the background. Very nice indeed.
