Pink flower and a birthday

I have no idea what this flower is.

My Cameron turned 16 today. Here he is last month letting me know how much he loves me.

(He wasn't really that grumpy at the time; he was just messing with me. He did make this his Facebook profile picture for a while. )

Wildflowers with texture

I love to play with textures on my photos, and when I do, I like to do it with a heavy hand and make the photo look totally different.

To break up the week, here's something besides a flower.

Red and yellow flower

I bet 90% of my photos in the last couple of months have been of flowers, but I don't care. I love flowers. They're my favorite thing to photograph.

Red Lily

The way the petals are curved, this looks like a hibiscus, but it's a day lily. Again, I didn't do anything to the color in Photoshop. It was that rich and vibrant.

Lily

Day lily at a local botanical garden. I didn't do anything to boost the color here.

Daisies

I love wildflowers like daisies.
