Bird of the day: hawk

Milestone day today--DS hit his first high school home run, and DD went to her first semi-formal dance. It's been busy! Just a couple of quick shots taken from my car as I zipped home quickly between events. This guy was sitting on the telephone wire on my road.

Wow, I have to say your focus is pretty darn good! That last shot looks like is was really hard to get. And what does EV mean?

Wow, Becky, awesome shots! I am trusting that you pulled to the side of the road, and these weren't drivebys. LOL! Really like these--crisp and nicely detailed, and love the one of him taking off. Very cool!

Great shots, that last one is so cool! Those sure are sharp claws, you can really see them in the second shot!

Congrats to your ds on his accomplishment! How old is your dd? Did you take a photograph of her dressed up for the dance?

You are SOME multi-tasker!I love that last photo, the POV, and his tail feathers. You really capture a sense of movement, flight and speed in that last photo.

It really seems like you are so so close. I love them.

Way to go for your son too! That is a MAJOR accomplishment. And there is something so bitter sweet about school dances...don't you think?
