A nice view from a bad location
What's this? The view from my dad's hospital room, unfortunately. As I've mentioned, my dad has been here in Maine since mid-June for a visit from Florida. He has multiple medical problems. On the 4th of July we had a BBQ at my house, then later Dad ended up in the ER with a heart attack (his fourth), congestive heart failure, and pulmonary edema. He has been in the hospital since that time and is scheduled for surgery in the morning to have a defibrillator placed. Your prayers and good wishes would be appreciated by our whole family.

I have been wondering where you've been. So sorry that your dad is going through such a rough time right now. I'm sure it's hard on you, too. I can totally relate, having been through similar stuff with my dad. I hope your dad makes a speedy recovery. Hope you can get some rest, too! :)

My heart is with you. We almost lost my mom in winter 2007. She ended up having 5 by pass (ok not good at the right word there for 5 ) Its a scary time for a family. I hope things turn out well for him and your family.

Oh, Becky, I've wondered where you've been! I hope all went well with your dad's surgery this am. Bad enough to be having these medical problems, but to be away from home and experiencing them can be extra hard. My prayers are with you and your family. . .

Becki-definetly in my prayers-excellent hospital-I used to work there-if he is at MMC that is...I know alot of the OR folks and they will take good care of him. If he is in the CCU areas ask for Barb McCrum-excellent nurse from The County-she'll go the extra mile for ya.
