A photo (or more) a day from me/from Maine. Because it's both. I took the photo, and I'm in Maine. Although sometimes I leave the state, so the photo might not be from Maine. But it's still from me.

One photo, four ways
One photo four ways: original, black and white, with texture and vignette, with different texture. In case anyone wants to hear what the hairy woodpecker in yesterday's post sounds like: http://www.junglewalk.com/popup.asp?type=a&AnimalAudioID=396
Love this photo! (: The textures look great together. Thank you so much for answering me about the blog layout. I really appreciate it. I am very satisfied with my blog now. And, I just love your blog. I like how you put a new gorgeous picture(s) on there everyday. It gives me some good photography inspiration each day. Thanks, again.
Love these different versions! I can't even decide--they are all really cool, which means they are all a success. I had so much fun looking at all your previous posts that I missed. I LOVED the birds--the hairy woodpecker, the scarlet tanager--I would've been excited, too!!! I am a total bird dork, so I get it! And--are all those lilacs in that sun flare shot?? I am so jealous! How gorgeous!!!
I love the whole set of them together! This would look nice framed on a wall. Your woodpecker shots are fantastic! But watch out if he goes after your trees. One did massive damage to one of our trees a few years ago (but we seem to have a love/hate relationship with the birds in our life.) We had to buy protective wrapping to save the tree.
Very cool! My fave is the last one. We had a nasty woodpecker at our last house...it pecked the house! Little stinker, we used to hit the walls on the inside to try to get rid of it and it would peck back!~ :)

ReplyDeleteThis is fun! I really like the first & third versions.

ReplyDeleteVery cool, seeing all the different ways one picture can be processed, and still look great. Good job.

ReplyDeleteThis would make a cool storyboard.
ReplyDeleteThat would look great up on the wall! I like them all!
ReplyDeleteLove to see a photo edited different ways!! Cool!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting. I'm plain jane and don't experiment. We would still be in the stone age if it were up to me.

Those are all so neat, I can't pick a favorite version. I think the first and third?? The black and white is nice too!
ReplyDeleteLove all the plays on this photo. I think my favorite is the third one. The texture makes it look so rich.
