Another nuthatch, a red-breasted one. The last nuthatch photo was a white-breasted one. (The red-breasted nuthatch has the stripe across the eye that the white-breasted one doesn't.) If I saw a brown-headed one my nuthatch trinity would be complete, but they don't hang out this far north.
He's so cute! He looks comfortable chillin on that branch. Great shot of him!
ReplyDeleteGreat capture!!
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful capture
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! So clear and crisp.
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty. Love the black streak across his/her face!
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable! And what an amazing, clear shot of him! The only birds I've seen in my yard so far have been crows and robins... but maybe I could photograph a robin if I can be patient enough, LOL.
ReplyDeleteNice shot, Becky. Very crisp and lots of details. I would love seeing some nuthatches. I know we have them, but they are pretty shy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful and crisp shot! Great job!
ReplyDeleteSo cool! You've inspired me to go stalking the neighborhood birds.
ReplyDeleteHe's so chubby! Very cute!
ReplyDeleteAwe love it. ~Jackie
ReplyDeleteWow, great photo! Do you have feeders near your house? I never can get close enough to the birds to get decent pics of them.
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I have never even tried to capture a bird, they move too fast!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little bird! Great capture!
ReplyDeleteAmazing! I don't know HOW people get shots like this. Seriously...I think the birds hate me. Great clarity. Did you shoot this with your 27-70 or your 70-300?
ReplyDeleteGreat focus on him. I just love bird photos. I need to go get bird food today and see if they start coming around.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty bird, you got great focus! I'd have scared the bird away. :)
