More signs of fall

Another macro shot of my fall bouquet. Don't these petals look like autumn leaves?

I still haven't ventured much farther than my deck, but I have some signs of fall there. The acorns I gathered a few weeks ago for my acorn macro photo:

And a leaf on my faux-wicker patio furniture. I got that furniture at Service Merchandise. Remember that store? I loved that store. I wish it was still around.

    Love the alstromeria petals--they DO look like leaves. That last shot is so neat! What would it look like with some cool actions? And I DO remember Service Merch. Loved that store! Do you have HomeGoods out there? I found it in NY when DD lived there--awesome store.

    I love your acorn shot! Did you desaturate the last photo. . . or are the leaves already turning that brown? We have a pale fall here. . . pretty, but not with the intensity of oranges I see in others' photos. (I don't think I would have know about that, if not for POTD!)
