Took a drive to see
Olympia, the world's largest snowwoman after school yesterday. About a month after being dedicated, she's looking a little snirty (to borrow a word from Angela), one arm is broken, most of her rope hair is gone, and most of her mica necklace has fallen apart.
She's a big girl, isn't she? That's DD and her friends in the photo.

Her ski eyelashes, wreath eyes, and tire mouth are largely intact, though.

My friend and I got a kick out of her cheesetastic-ness.
And here are the beauties who took us for our wagon ride on Easter. The sunlight was awfully bright. Did I do an okay job post processing these?

Dd gives him a pat:

The end.

ReplyDeleteThat is one ginormous snowman!!! Great perspective with the kids in the foreground too!
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE that snowwoman! What an absolute HOOT!! Nice work with the horses in the bright sun; really like the second shot of them. Ironic--you wait all winter for sun, and then grouse because it messes up your photos. ONly photographers appreciate overcast days...
ReplyDeleteWow! Wait, let me rephrase that. WOW! On both the size the Snirt-Queen, and your absolutely gorgeous horse photos! I love the pping you did on these, and each one has an excellent perspective! (But that humongous snowgirl isn't really too snirty. . . she's looking too clean for snirt.)
ReplyDeleteNow that's a snowman/girl! Love the horses, must have been a fun day!
ReplyDeletewoah-that snowwoman is seriously huge! love her parts-lol! your horses are beautiful. you did very well processing them. the colors are great.
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh..that snowman is AWESOME. i'd hate to be around when it starts melting though. good grief..the eyelashes could put an eye out. great horse shots too.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have ever seen a snow man anywhere close to that size. To funny. What a wonderful sleigh ride that must have been.
ReplyDeleteBTW no I havent gotten over the emotional part of ds accident. I am usually not a crier but now everything makes me cry. Hopefully one day soon I will get back to normal.
we had a big snowman here but nowhere near that big. great to include your dd to show scale.
ReplyDeleteWOW- what a GINORMOUS snowwoman! How tall is she? AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteThose horses are gorgeous too... are they clydesdales?
Wow, that snowman is just amazing and I love how you captured it's size in that first one. Perfect angle. I would love to see that in real life! And yes, your horses look terrific, too!
ReplyDeletewhat a fun snowman! gorgeous photos of the horses, and the ending made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteThat HUGE snowwoman is awesome! LOL What fun! The horses are gorgeous, great shots of them too!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is one HUGE snowlady! I really like how you have your dd and friend in the photo for perspective.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job on pp'ing the horse shots, I like the dark edges. My favorite shot of all is the last one, I just love the decoration in the tail. I used to show horses and ride my horses in the parades and always decorated their tales. :)
