A photo (or more) a day from me/from Maine. Because it's both. I took the photo, and I'm in Maine. Although sometimes I leave the state, so the photo might not be from Maine. But it's still from me.

The answer is...
Can you tell yet? Here you go! Glass Christmas ornaments: And a couple more closeups. Ooh, this one is dusty (and this time it's not the camera):
Lovely photos and great game! Stumbled in through blogger and just want to say hi.
Also, I would like to invite you to leave a comment on my blog. At my blog I ask people to tell me about their day in seven words or less. Just leave me a comment with your seven words, you can do it anonymously. If you'd rather not, then have a nice day.
I told you I wasn't good at guessing. When you sent your camera out to get cleaned I was thinking to myself hmmm I have never sent my camera to get cleaned then I never had a reason to for the last 2 years. So today what happens There are two count them two spots in my lens I scream because my 80-400mm lens rolled down in the truck this week(another long story) so I thought I broke it. Nope thankfully my camera just needs cleaning because it showed up on while using another lens.
Hooray, my macro lens came today, and you're providing me with more inspiration! Such beautiful colors! I love the contrast between the clear portions and colored portions of the balls. I'm trying to watch LOST, but am too distracted by POTD. I'll have to rewind!
those are gorgeous. i really like the bowl too. it's really pretty. i'm not really feeling any better..i haven't been taking the drugs either cause they were making me dizzy. so yeah, hopefully i get better and not worse.
Becky those are so cool! Your macros are so great. I never would have guessed what those were if I had not seen the whole set all at once. I saw your photo from the other day of Belfast it made me sooooo wish for summer and some good coast shots. We will have to get together and shoot some down here in my neck of the woods. :)
Love this idea--fun to try and identify the mystery! You know you've got good glass and focus when you can see the dust... Love those ornaments, by the way.
