Shapes

I took this out on my walk today with my nifty new point-and-shoot I got for my birthday. I wanted a purse camera.Isn't it cute?
And go me, I took my first real moon shot a few minutes ago using info posted on 2Peas. This is SOOC (used the 70-300 lens at 300 mm, AWB, manual mode ISO200 F16 SS1/250
I'm going to try for the lunar eclipse tonight (10 to 11ish Eastern time).

    I'm so jealous of your moon shot. I tried the eclipse tonight and failed miserably! It was just way too cold for me to play. I wasn't really thinking about what I was doing and had the settings way off! Great job!

    I really need to get one of those little cameras for my purse...I can see how that would come in handy.

    I love the shot you got of the moon. I am always impressed with night shots. I can never, ever get a good one.

    LOL, I'm afraid to tell DH that I want a cute little purse camera~ I think he'd kill me with all the investment in equipment we have!

    So, I'm a little jealous.
    I like the texture of the shot you posted. Is it a tire track?
