More candy hearts

A note about yesterday's candy heart shot: I can't take credit for the composition, I copied someone else's idea (I think it was sometime last week and I don't remember who). I've gotten so much inspiration from all of you by participating in POTD, so I thank you!

Settings: Canon XT w/100mm macro lens on tripod F22 SS4 ISO400 CWB. Exposure compensation +2.3 and still had to brighten up. Also popped the color some.And I know selective color is soooo over, but I've never done it before (I didn't know how).

    WOW! Amazing color in the first shot, and I'm not usually a fan of selective coloring but it totally works in the 2nd! Great job!

    I'm normally totally NOT a fan of SC, but here...it's just perfect. I was thinking this in my head, so I'm glad someone made it happen. Cool.

    These are great. I love the color. And, I've never done the selective color either. Great idea to try on these hearts. I may have try too :)

    Pretty! I love the first one. And i have to admit, I like selective color on photos like this way more than on ones of people where the eyes are the only thing left in color

    Well, I don't think selective coloring is over, especially not when it helps to communicate the main point, like in your photo. Very creative!
