DD's first semi-formal dance

Dd, sixth grade, on her way to her first semi-formal dance Saturday night (or as I like to call it, the semi-normal). The cutest ones I took are of her with her friend(s) but since I don't have permission to post their beautiful faces, here's one I could crop pretty easily. I can't believe this is my baby!

    She is gorgeous, and looks so much like you! it's hard to believe she's only in 6th grade though, I would have guessed her as 8th or 9th grade for sure. Watch out mom!

    OMG?! SIXTH grade? She looks way older than that. Is it just my imagination or are kids looking older earlier these days? Yikes! You're going to have your hands full if you don't already.

    Wow! She's so pretty! I feel your pain on the "growing up". Where does the time go? Yellow is my favorite color and she looks absolutly beautiful in it! My DD has one of these (8th grade banquet) coming up on the 23rd. Congrats proud mama!
