Shapes

Remember these shapes? DD pulled Perfection out of the closet and I thought a photo would be good for shapes week. I loved this game when I was a kid.
I thought it would be fun to try to get a shot as it popped up and the shapes went into the air.

Oops, I forgot that it always makes me jump when it does that. Check out the camera shake! Ha ha!
I tried and tried again and finally kind of got it, but it was super underexposed so it's really grainy.

And then I gave up because with the constant ticking of the timer and popping of the game my nerves were all jangled and I was shaking like a leaf. Just like when I was a kid. Good times!

    I LOVE trips down memory lane!! I used to play this with my grandmother all the time when I was little. Now I'm crying :( Thank you for posting this...really :)

    Oh my gosh!! Clever, clever, clever!!! I love these--and actually, the 2nd shot where everything is jumping around captures the whole game. Kudos for these!

    How funny! I love your "good times" comment! Amazing, the ways we can find to entertain ourselves! I like the 3rd photo, and it does look like you caught it in mid-air. Very creative!

    I love that you captured the pieces "popping" but I love the camera shake one! It really adds to the theme of the shot!

    Omgosh, I totally felt like I was right there again! :)

    The camera shake photo is great! It makes me feel startled... but the one where you froze all the pieces in the air is just cool!

    Loved these ones!
